| Job Description: | Lab Assistant - Full Time Hours: Monday – Friday 12:00pm – 8:00pm with Saturday rotation. Location: Outpatient Lab at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany, NY. St. Peter's Hospital is seeking a candidate with clerical experience for patient registration duties in the outpatient laboratory department. The Lab Assistant will be responsible for answering the phone, providing lab results to providers, dispatch couriers, and other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements: - High school diploma or GED is required. - Previous clerical experience is preferred, in a healthcare setting. - Computer skills and medical terminology are preferred. - Excellent customer service, communication and people skills. |
